Boosting Year-end Engagement in December

Hello everyone and welcome to the holiday season countdown. Yes! It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year. Apart from wrapping up (pun intended) year-end projects and performance appraisals, if you haven’t done so already, now is the time to start thinking about how to boost engagement!

Here are a few ideas to boost engagement at year-end:

1. Host a virtual holiday party:

Organize a fun and interactive virtual event where employees can connect, play games and celebrate the accomplishments of the year. Encourage participation by offering prizes or recognition for the most festive attire or best holiday-themed background.

2. Recognize and reward achievements:

Take the time to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and achievements of your team members throughout the year. Consider creating a recognition program or awarding special bonuses or gifts to those who have made significant contributions.

3. Conduct a year-in-review session:

Host a virtual meeting or webinar to recap the highlights and milestones of the past year. Share success stories, key learnings and future goals. Encourage employees to contribute their thoughts and reflections on the past year.

4. Run a holiday-themed contest or challenge:

Create a friendly competition or challenge that aligns with the holiday season. This could be a holiday-themed trivia contest, a decoration competition, or a charitable giving challenge. Offer incentives or prizes to encourage participation and engagement.
