Ingredients
- 1 cup nut butter
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 10 dates, depitted and soaked
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup ground flax
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder or organic cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Pinch sea salt
Optional:
- 1/2 cup chocolate for melting
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
Method
- After the dates are soaked and soft, drain and place in a food processor.
- Add all other ingredients and mix until a dough ball is formed.
- Break dough into smaller balls, about 2 cm in diameter
- Roll into balls until smooth.
- Place on a plate and put in the fridge to chill.
Optional:
- Melt chocolate chips and pour melted chocolate over balls.
- Roll in coconut flakes for an extra treat!
